Dog/Cat Registration

All dogs/cats over the age of 3 months must be registered with Council and must wear the tags at all times. Registrations expire on 30 June each year, and are due to be re-registered by the 31 August each year.

To register your Dog or Cat, please come into the Council offices to fill out the 'Application for Registration of a Dog/Cat', ensuring that you have written proof of  desexing and microchipping or training. You can register a dog/cat if you are over the age of 16 and provide documentation to prove your identity.

For more information about responsible dog ownership please visit the Good Dog SA website.

Cats cannot be registered if they are not microchipped and desexed.

Change of Address

To provide the Registar with a Change of Address, please fill out the back of the yellow original copy of the 'Application for Registration of a Dog/Cat' that you would have received when registering your dog/cat.

If you've misplaced the form, please come into the Council offices to fill out the 'Application for Registration of a Dog/Cat' - change of address section.
